Initial Appointment for Medical Dermatology

1- Patients of Medicare, MCS Classiccare, Humana Gold Plus, Triple-S Advantage, MMM, First Medical Vital and MMM Vital who wish to make an appointment must call 787-763-6795 or write to citas@dralillianaramirez.com to schedule it.  

2- During the initial appointment of medical dermatology will only address exclusively, skin, nail or scalp conditions. It cannot be used for cosmetic evaluations. 

3- The payment of your appointment is not refundable, once you schedule it in our system. If due to an emergency you need to reschedule your appointment, you must do so within 48 hours of the appointment. You have up to a maximum of 2 changes per appointment, if you do not reschedule or exceed the maximum of 2 changes, it is canceled and is not refundable. 

4-In the event that we have to cancel or reschedule your appointment for reasons beyond our control, our staff will be contacting you to reschedule the appointment at your convenience or your money will be refunded.

5- After you make your appointment, our system will be sending you an email with some documents, which must be completed and sent to our office by email as soon as possible.  

6-On the day of your appointment we ask you to arrive 10 minutes prior, in order not to affect the appointments of other patients.

7- In our offices we take all possible measures to assist you at the time of your appointment but due to the nature of the profession we cannot guarantee it.

Follow up Appointment for Medical Dermatology

2- The follow-up appointment of medical dermatology will only address exclusively, conditions of skin, nails or scalp.  It cannot be used for cosmetic evaluations.  

3- For your appointment to be considered a follow-up appointment, the patient must have been seen by Dr. Ramírez within a period of no more than 3 years.  If you schedule your appointment as a follow-up appointment and our staff realizes that it is initial, you will be charged the difference.

1- At your initial cosmetic appointment, the doctor will discuss all possible treatments. A personalized treatment plan will be established and the costs of each treatment will be discussed in detail. 

2- The cost of your initial appointment will not apply to future cosmetic treatments; it applies to a complete evaluation and establishment of the treatment plan. 

3- If any of the recommended and approved cosmetic treatments can be performed on the same day as your initial visit, our staff will let you know.
